Watch for the new thing I am going to do.
It is happening already—you can see it now!
Isaiah 43:19 GNB
Welcome to
Cumbernauld Trinity Parish Church
A community of Christian faith,
love, and service.
A people seeking to be salt and light
in an ever-changing world.
A place where we gather to worship God
and go out to love our neighbour.
Hello! New here?
Come and take a quick look around….
Our vision
We are a newly formed Christian community which is entering a new season of sharing the joy of God’s love, blending the best of its former traditions whilst listening for the guiding voice of the Holy Spirit in response to the needs of today and tomorrow.
Life Events
The most important life events often take place in church: baptism, weddings and funerals. Whether you choose the 17th century Village Church or the modern B-listed St Mungo’s Hub, we will walk with you on your special day.
Diary dates
The people of the church play an important part in worship. Fellowship means sharing resources, supporting one another, and engaging in activities that foster a sense of community and belonging.
Our story
Cumbernauld Trinity was formed on 15 August 2024, by the union of Cumbernauld Old and Kildrum and St Mungo’s churches. There has been worship in Cumbernauld Village since the 13th century…
Sunday morning worship
The Village Church offers community praise and prayer in a beautiful 17th century kirk. It is a living testament to Scotland's enduring faith and cultural heritage. Today the Village Church honours the past while looking to the future.
Sunday service takes place at 11.00am.
Café Church
Café Church offers a new way for people to explore faith and experience community. Whether you come as a lifelong believer or are simply curious about spirituality, it is a welcoming and informal place to explore the journey of faith.
Sunday service takes place at 2.30pm at
St Mungo’s Hub.
Activities
Cumbernauld Trinity’s mission is to be a sign of hope, a place of grace, and a force for good, with a commitment to love and serve the Cumbernauld community and beyond. Through prayer and pastoral care, in its practical support for local people facing poverty, and by supporting the Scottish Bible Society, Christian Aid and overseas Mission Partners, Cumbernauld Trinity is seeking to live out the Good News of Jesus Christ and make Him known.
But there is so much more still to be done…
