Our South Africa Connection

Cumbernauld Trinity has a long-standing relationship with our Mission Partners in South Africa and our Mission Circle supports the work done at Mamelodi East congregation of the Uniting Presbyterian Church in Southern Africa (UPCSA).

On the first Sunday of the month we put out a collection bucket (aka the Big Red Bucket) and invite those attending worship to ‘pop in a pound’ for South Africa.

The money raised is then sent to our Mission Partners, Graham and Sandra Duncan, and passed on, where it has been used to buy groceries for vulnerable, and occasionally child-led, families, school uniforms and toiletries, and recently helped buy bedding for a young lady about to leave home and start life at university.
