Ladies’ Circle - Spring / Summer 2025

This year’s session of Cumbernauld Trinity Ladies’ Circle will commence on Monday 21st April at St Mungo’s Hub, starting at 7pm. On the opening evening, the much loved ‘Harmony Ladies’ will entertain everyone with their mix of songs, old and new.

Meetings thereafter will take place every second Monday up until early September when the session will end with a closing dinner. The programme will feature visiting speakers, musical evenings, charity talks, home nights / outings and a regular supply of tea, coffee, cakes, and fellowship.

Records show that the ladies of St Mungo’s Church and latterly Kildrum & St Mungo’s Church have been sharing in fellowship for well over 50 years, there being a written record of their meetings dating back to 13 March 1967. The original name for the group was “Thenew St Mungo’s Church of Scotland Women’s Fellowship” , Thenew being the name of St Mungo’s mother.

The term ‘Ladies’ Circle’ has been in use since approximately 1990. Despite many changes, the group has continued to thrive, and we pray that Cumbernauld Trinity Ladies' Circle will continue to do so from this year onwards.
