Holy Week Cluster Services

The Cumbernauld and Moodiesburn Cluster of Church of Scotland congregations are coming together for a series of worship services to mark Holy Week 2025.

Holy Week this year runs from Sunday 13th (Palm Sunday) to Sunday 20th April (Easter Day) and everyone is welcome to join us at any or all of our services.

In addition to these, Cumbernauld Trinity will be holding a worship service on Maundy Thursday - 17th April - in the large hall at St Mungo’s Hub. There will be the option to order a fish supper (or alternative) to eat beforehand (please arrive at 6.30pm for 7.00pm), although you are more than welcome to attend without having a meal. After supper, the Sacrament of Holy Communion will be celebrated by Rev Jane Denniston.

Then on Good Friday - 18th April - the Village church will be open for prayer and reflection from 12 noon until 3.00pm with Bible readings every 15 minutes as we remember Jesus’ arrest, trial and crucifixion. Please feel free to drop in and stay as long as you wish, if even for a few moments,
